Subcloning Efficiency™ DH5α™ Competent Cells are an economical solution for routine subcloning procedures or any application where the starting DNA is not limiting. These cells:

Ideal for routine subcloning procedures
Subcloning Efficiency™ DH5α™ Competent Cells are recommended for routine subcloning of genes into plasmid vectors but are not suitable for the generation of cDNA libraries. These economical cells yield >1 x 106 transformants/µg control DNA per 50 µL reaction.
