Agarose LE is suitable for routine analytical and preparative gel electrophoresis of nucleic acids. Specific applications include, for example:

By varying the concentration of agarose LE in the gel, you can separate nucleic acids that are as small as 0.2 kbp and as large as 15 kbp. 
Nucleic acids separated with agarose LE are suitable for molecular biological applications such as blotting (up to 5 kb fragments) or enzymatic manipulations
