Application
The Anti-His6 (2) antibody provides specific and sensitive detection of histidine-tagged proteins, regardless of the vector used for expression. The antibody is suitable for immunoblotting, immunoprecipitation, immunoassays (ELISAs), immunocytochemistry, and immunofluorescence. When used in combination with metal chelate affinity chromatography, efficient purification is coupled with sensitive detection of a tagged, recombinant protein.
Product Description
Specificity : The Anti-His 6 (2) antibody recognizes an epitope of six consecutive histidine residues (His 6 ) in natural and recombinant proteins. The antibody reacts with native and denatured histidine-tagged fusion proteins independent of the location of the histidine tag in the protein sequence; however, it preferentially recognizes the N-terminal His 6 epitope with high sensitivity.
