Application
Use biotin-16-dUTP to add a nonradioactive label to DNA, so the DNA can easily and safely be detected (e.g ., with enzyme-conjugated streptavidin). Biotin-16-dUTP can replace dTTP in the following enzymatic procedures:
•nick translation (e.g., with E. coli DNA Polymerase I) •random-primed DNA labeling (e.g ., with Klenow Enzyme) •labeling during PCR (e.g., with Taq DNA polymerase) •3´-tailing (with terminal transferase) •cDNA synthesis (e.g., with Transcriptor or M-MuLV reverse transcriptase)
