Microwaveable medium for selection of E. coli transformants
Fast-Media® Amp X-gal formulation is a LB based agar medium supplemented with ampicillin, X-Gal and IPTG. It is used for detection of blue/white resistant colonies after transformation by a vector carrying LacZ gene.
