性狀描述:外觀為桔紅色針狀結(jié)晶熔點204-205℃。溶于水和醇，不溶于丙酮、苯、氯仿、乙醚。
由松鏈絲菌淺灰色變株(Str.Peucetius var.Caesius)的培養(yǎng)液提取而得。本品化學(xué)結(jié)構(gòu)與柔紅霉素類似，因此可以由柔紅霉素化學(xué)轉(zhuǎn)化而制得。目前已可化學(xué)全合成。
藥理作用：可穿透進入細胞與腫瘤細胞ＤＮＡ交叉，聯(lián)結(jié)，抑制ＤＮＡ復(fù)制，并阻斷ＲＮＡ聚合酶的作用，抑制ＲＮＡ的合成；其細胞毒作用與自由基形成，與腫瘤細胞膜結(jié)合和破快細胞膜有關(guān)。
適應(yīng)癥： 用于治療急性淋巴細胞白血病、急性粒細胞性白血病、霍奇金病和非霍奇金病淋巴瘤、乳腺癌、肺癌、卵巢癌、軟組織肉瘤、成骨肉瘤、橫紋肌肉瘤、腎母細胞瘤、神經(jīng)母細胞瘤、膀胱瘤、甲狀腺瘤、絨毛膜上皮癌、前列腺癌、睪丸癌、胃癌、肝癌等。

  Naturally fluorescent anthracycline antibiotic, anticancer drug. Doxorubicin is a substrate of MRP1 which was first cloned from a DOX-resistant lung cancer cell line.
