長春新堿是一種雙吲哚型生物堿。分子式C46H58N4O9。存在于夾竹桃科植物長春花中。甲醇中重結(jié)晶時為針狀結(jié)晶。熔點(diǎn)211～216℃，比旋光度＋42°(氯仿)。溶于氯仿、丙酮和乙醇。其硫酸鹽熔點(diǎn)284～285℃，－28°(甲醇) ；鹽酸鹽熔點(diǎn)244～246℃ (分解)。
