A solidifying agent, is a purified agar in which extraneous matter, pigmented portions ａnd salts are reduced to a minimum. It is available in the form of fine, light colored granules which are convenient for weighing ａnd handling. It is usually used in concentrations of 1-2% in solid culture media or in concentrations of 0.05%-0.5% in media used for determination of motility ａnd the growth of anaerobes ａnd microaerophiles.
用途：
固化試劑，高純度瓊脂，最大程度去除外界雜質(zhì)、染料成份及鹽份，用于固體培養(yǎng)基，濃度通常為1-2%；用于動(dòng)力試驗(yàn)和厭氧菌及微需氧菌的生長(zhǎng)，濃度通常為0.05-0.5%
