Poly(I:C) (HMW) / LyoVec™
Poly(I:C) is a synthetic dsRNA polymer. Unlike naked poly(I:C) which is recognized by TLR3, transfected poly(I:C) is sensed by RIG-I/MDA-5 in a cell-type-specific manner [1,2].
Poly(I:C) (HMW)/LyoVec are complexes between poly(I:C) high molecular weight (HMW) and the transfection reagent LyoVec™. These complexes induce the activation of the RIG-I/MDA-5 signaling pathway at concentrations ranging from 100 ng to 1 µg/ml in as C57/WT murine embryonic fibroblasts (MEFs), InvivoGen’s RLR reporter cell line. As the size of poly(I:C) has been shown to influence RIG-I/MDA-5 activation [3], we also provide the low molecular weight poly(I:C) (LMW)/LyoVec.
