Negative control for Pepinh inhibitory peptides
Pepinh-Control is a negative control for Pepinh-MYD and Pepinh-TRIF. Pepinh-Control is a 30 aa peptide, comprised of a 14-aa scrambled sequence preceeded by a 16-aa cell-penetrating segment of the antennapedia homoedomain (RQIKIWFQNRRMKWKK). The scrambled sequence is not homologous to any known proteins as verified by Basic Local Alignement Search Tool (BLAST), therefore, Pepinh-Control is not expected to interfere with MyD88 or TRIF activity.
